Flannel Board: I went to the zoo…
By: Tammy Henry, April 2010

I went to the zoo on Sunday
I saw an elephant wrinkled and gray.
I went to the zoo on Monday
I saw the tiger tumble and play.
I went to the zoo on Tuesday
The kangaroos hopping put on quite a display.
I went the zoo on Wednesday
How much does that big hippo weigh?
I went to the zoo on Thursday
I saw the lion chase his prey.
I went to the zoo on Friday
The giraffe was crunching and munching on hay.
I went to the zoo on Saturday
I saw the snake slither on the clay
Now it is time to go on our way
I like visiting the zoo everyday!
